A Leased Line is a good option for companies with large
information flows.Your leased line Internet connection will be a permanent
telecommunications connection between your site and MandlaNet which is active 24 hours per
day for a fixed monthly fee. An advantage of this type of connectivity is that the costs
are easier to budget as your Telkom monthly fee is a fixed amount. MandlaNet offers a
range of digital Leased Lines catering for various connection speeds and options of local
and/or international traffic bands. |

For many bigger companies ISDN (Integrated
Services Digital Network) is good enough. Because it is a "Digital" service you
are guaranteed a speed of 64Kb over a dial-up connection. MandlaNet will connect an ISDN
router to your server, and through this your entire network will have access to e-mail and
all other Internet services. Compared to a leased line, ISDN is a much more affordable
option. Some users also install ISDN as a back-up solution for a Diginet Leased Line. |

If you have a local area network in your office that you want
connected to the Internet, you can, of course, get a leased line or ISDN connection.
However, for smaller offices where the Internet will not be heavily used, you can ustilise
our special LAN Dial-Up connectivity option. With this solution we install an ordinary
high-speed modem on your network, install appropriate software on your server and…
any number of people from your office can connect to the Internet at the same time using

With MandlaNet's Corporate Mail option, each staff member will have an individual e-mail address personalised with your company’s (domain) name. You won't necessarily need a leased line and a server to accomplish this. However, if you have a LAN installed, this option can work well with our LAN Access product. MandlaNet will register your company’s domain name as either yourcompany.co.za or as yourcompany.com and open up as many mail boxes as you need. Your e-mail addresses will then have your company’s name as the domain - i.e. "john@yourcompany.co.za" or 'john@yourcompany.com"
