As you must be aware, spam has become extremely problematic for mail servers, we have no option but to use our own POP servers to try and manage this spam (instead of dziner’s). 

If your reading this message you most probably already using this new POP which is : pop.mandla.co.za.

You must have seen a dramatic increase in the receiving of SPAM on your account, however we still note that many of our users are also contributing to more SPAM.

You should please refrain from forwarding mail to everyone in your address book, if our server reports indicate to us that you have sent a single email to more than fifty addresses we will regard this as abuse of our servers and immediately disable your email account. If you need to send the same email to more than fifty people ensure that you break each email into lots of fifty and send them after a delay of at least three minute between mails.

We also note many of our users subscribe to mailing list, we would appreciate that you use mailing list which are text based and don’t have large picture attachments and bulky graphic HTML coding. Also please ensure that you read your mail, we have some accounts with unread mail (specially from lists) which exceed 100mb. Don’t give or leave your email on any web site you visit. . .

Please use just one MAIN email account and let us know by email which is your MAIN email account, we allow another two  alias email accounts which relay mail back to your MAIN account. An example of this is : You can have your main account as md@mandla.co.za and have two alias accounts basit@mandla.co.za and b@mandla.co.za. Any once can send u mail on any one of the three accounts and our mail server will route it to the main account i.e md@mandla.co.za.  In Outlook you set up only one account (The Main Account).

We limit all storage of mail on our servers to 10mb only. The Maximum size of any email you send should not exceed 1MB. If your exceed this quota your email account will be disabled.
